Oh, almost forgot but this Saturday is the amazing convention, TOO MANY GAMES! Be sure to check this convention out if you are in the Reading, PA area. Arcade Hunters: Episode 3
Nick - writer - posted on Saturday, 10/11/08 1:05:28 EDT
Hey everybody. We've got the newest episode of Arcade Hunters up on Blip (As well as the TGA video in much nicer quality!) so be sure to check out out!
Arcade Hunters Episode 3
Now when you go to Blip, you can choose a normal Flash version, or a higher quality Windows AVI file, so if your computer can handle it, make sure you watch with Windows Media version.
I'm going to start posting more of my older videos on to Blip in the coming weeks. The quality isn't going to be that much better, because my camera at the time was older, but it's going to be nice to get off of Revver where the videos are uploaded in timely fashion, rather then waiting 4-5 hours then be told you don't own the rights to your own video.
2600 has gotten work done on the first print comic, so we'll let you know when you can pick it up. I just got a new computer, only took six years so I've been playing lots of Team Fortress 2 and it's so nice to be away from the people on Live.
So till next week, have a good weekend and we'll see you back here next week.
Street Fighter IV Videos!
Nick - writer - posted on Friday, 10/03/08 22:07:29 EDT
Well, last weekend was TGA's big Street Fighter IV party and we all had a great time. I took some pictures, and 2600 took a lot of great videos we're going to share with you this week.
We posted the videos this time over on Blip.tv. I had heard a lot of people jumping ship off of Revver and I can see why. We'll put videos up and they claim we don't own them (With or without credits) and they'll take FOREVER to upload videos. In fact, four of the videos are still "Uploading" according to Revver.
Press Start's Blip TV Channel!
So go on over to the new Blip account we opened up for our SFIV videos. I have two more to upload, but I'm in the process of moving my files over to my new computer (Only took six years!) so I should have them up at the end of the week.
I took a few pictures of the event, since I didn't want to bother playing with flash pictures, I didn't take many but it's good to see what the place looks like with people in it for a change.
Street Fighter IV Weekend Pictures!
Well, that's it for me. I had a lot of personal stuff happen this weekend, so I'm going to cut it short. So I'll see ya all next time.
Arcade Hunters Episode 2 and TGA's Street Fighter IV Party

The next episode of Arcade Hunters is up on Revver. 2600 did some editing and cut it down to a nice 10 minute long episode of our latest trip to New Jersey's own, 8 on The Break.
Arcade Hunters Episode 2
This was the first episode of the show we shot, so this is what most of the episodes will look like. With TGA we were lucky to have the owner Andy show us around, so I try my best to show off everything the place has. Thankfully 2600 edited the driving parts because the first cut made it look like "Manos: The Hands of Fate"
This weekend is Tokyo Game Action's Street Fighter IV release party. They've had the game for a while now (The boards came a while ago but they had to wait for the cabs, that finally came in last week) so I've been looking forward to checking the game out. With today's announcement of Gouken (Ken and Ryu's teacher) I can't wait to try the game out. Hopefully it won't be too packed because I'd like to try out Ken and Able.
There's also a new website that's been making the rounds on the internet and I want to give them a plug as well. The site is called Arcade Fly and it's something that we've been wanting to do for a while.
On Arcade Fly, you put in your address and you'll be able to find places to play arcade games and pinball. The site's still in the early stages but I've put up all of the arcades we've visited and there's a ton of other places we haven't visited, all on the site. If there's a place you know not listed, make sure you register on the site and let them know.
Arcade Fly
Since I'll be making my way up to TGA this weekend, I won't be able to put an update up on Friday, so I'll see you all next Wednesday with pictures and videos from TGA's Street Fighter IV party.

UPDATE:Arcade Hunters Episode 2: 8 On the Break is up and running! Click Here!!!
I had to cut some stuff out (I found the video footage that was causing the problems with uploading on Revver) and make into one 10 minute video. The FULL video will be up Friday on Youtube. This crap pisses me off, Revver offers better video quality and faster uploads, but tons of error messages that tell you nothing about what is wrong with the video. I am not talking about rejection for copyrighted content, but rather an error message from the site saying it is unable to upload the video. Youtube is great since you can upload just about anything and they are virtually error free, however the quality is so degraded and it takes so long (sometimes a few hours) to upload video's that it is painful. Maybe Blip will be better....
Well, I lied. Turns out 2600 had to go to his brother’s wedding this weekend and since his parent’s computer doesn’t work, he asked me to write up today’s news post.
What 2600 wanted to post about was how we’re going to go by uploading videos and comics. If all goes according to plan we hope to do a week with a new comic and then a new video.
With 2600’s hectic schedule a comic might be late, but we have enough stuff in our backlog of comic ideas to keep us going for a while.
Our newest episode of Arcade Hunters is ready, but of course, Revver is messing up on us. The first of the two part video went through fine, no problems. But 2600 tried TWICE to upload part two and it didn’t work.
Since he won’t be back till Monday, I’m not going to bother posting a link to a video you can only watch half of. I’m wondering if this is why so many people are going over to Blip. I’m going to try to open an account on there to see how they are with uploading videos.
If you guys enjoyed the last Arcade Hunters, I just wanted to let you know Andy finally got his Street Fighter IV machines and their ready to go over at Tokyo Game Action. The deal is 20 bucks gets you into the fighting game room and all games are on free play and if you want to play the racing and music games, it’s just another six bucks.
Next weekend is their big SFIV party, and I’m trying my best to see if I can make it there with the Captain. Even if I don’t go 2600 should be able to make it and he’ll cover it with his camera, even though I might not be there.
See ya next week.
