Updated Wednesday & Friday Evenings

as ghostly as he can be

I remember getting World of Warcraft (WoW) when it came out and falling in love with the game. The detail for me and the experience of being able to explore a new world was amazing. I also nearly lost it when I first died and got to see my ghost rise from the grave in the spectral world. The visual effects and sounds of the spectral world are amazing. For me, it really felt like my character was suspended in a sort of limbo.....well, that is until I ran around only to find out that some well known "skills" that ghosts have were left out of the game. I mean honestly Blizzard, if I am being chased out of a castle and the enemies are cheating by taking a shortcut through the walls instead of using the doorway like I have to(clipping or a glitch regardless), then why couldn't you have added that major "skill" that ghosts are so commonly known for?

ColdGuy is back once again this time with a new feature, Game Battle. For his first Game Battle, ColdGuy takes a look at two Sega Genesis classics, Ristar and Treasure's Dynamite Heady. Which game will reign supreme? Check it out for yourself!

Game Battle 1 will be uploaded later tonight so be sure to check back in when we update!

I also finally heard back from the folks over at Otakon, and it's good news! Our new panel, 10 MORE Games You Should play has been accepted for this year's convention! We have some great games lined up and we're trying to see about getting a hand selecting some of the games for the panel. When I find out more about it, I'll let you know!

So till Friday, this is Nick saying, stay cool! (95 degree weather sucks!!)

Missing in Action

Nick - writer - posted on Friday, 06/06/08 23:52:22 EDT

Hey everybody. I would first like to thank Ito and John D for posting our video interview with them up on their site. Thanks to them we got the most views ever. Almost 500 in a day! Hopefully you guys check out the rest of our site and enjoy what we have to offer.

Today's comic is a final send off to another webcomic that vanished last year. Nobody knows what happened to them and they just stopped all together. So we'd like to send it off with this comic, so hope you guys enjoy it. Kinda funny story about this comic. I pitched the idea about it at the restaurant that we usually visit for cheap seafood, everybody seemed to like the idea but it needed some more punch. So while brainstorming in the restroom, CI came up with the idea and made it better.

I also put up two new articles for your reading enjoyment. The first is a review of Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 that I had saved up for a while and the other is my take on FunSpot X, check em' out! (Don't forget to check out my Photobucket for the pictures I took as well! Click the photo link on your left!)

FunSpot X Review

Well, that's it for this week here at Press Start. Thanks for coming to check us out. Be sure to come back next week for a new comic, review and yet more stuff from everybody's favorite, Coldguy!

Interview with Retroware TV

Hey everybody. We still haven't had any luck finding out Mini-DV tape from FunSpot, hopefully somebody will come forward that may have found it. I've asked around on some of the other gaming websites and we're still hoping that somebody will return it.

But since we DID have another tape, we DID get some footage. One of them we were able to get was an interview with Johny D and Ito from Retroware TV.com. I gotta thank them for also taking some video of the stuff I did with John, because we wouldn't have had it. John and Ito are awesome guys and their site is top notch, so be sure to check it out if you haven't already.

I'm working on a write up about the whole event and it should be up before Friday, so be sure to be on the look out for it. Till Friday! Have a good one!
